Diamond Offers to Pay Rent for 500 Families Affected by COVID-19

As the world continues to battle the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, various artistes are coming out to help vulnerable and less fortunate members of the society in one way or another.

Over the past few months, thousands of people have had to take pay cuts, others have lost their jobs due to measures put in place by various governments, in a bid to combat spread of the disease.

In Tanzania, renowned musician Diamond Platnumz has offered to pay rent for at least 500 families facing hard times due to the virus.

A couple of weeks ago, Daimond’s Wasafi records was hit by the virus, forcing the entire crew to go into quarantine with Diamond’s manager Sallam SK and producer Ayo Lizer testing positive for COVID-19.
