Mayorkun Enlists Rayvanny in New ‘Geng’ Remix

Wasafi’s Rayvanny has been enlisted in the latest remix ‘Geng’ which was originally done by Nigeria’s Mayorkun.
‘Geng’ remix is the third version of the original song by the self-declared Mayor of Lagos-Mayorkun from his Geng Remix Ep.
In his verse, Rayvanny chants in Swahili, narrating the types of ‘Geng’ in Tanzania. Swahili was specifically chosen to market the new release in East and Cental Africa where the language is largely used.
Unlike his other songs where he sings in a mellow voice, in this remix, Rayvanny raps his verses; giving us a different version of him that we were yet to see.
Rayvanny shows us that he is able to try out new things, and still execute them perfectly without straining.
For now, only the audio is out, with the video being highly anticipated because of the artistes incorporated in the remix.
‘Geng’ remix has other African artistes including Congo’s Innos B, Kweli Arthur and Ricky Rick
Innos B has brought in the Congolese feel, Ricky Rick the South African Rap as Kweli Arthur comes through with the West African vibe.
The remix indeed has an African feel as most regions in the continent are covered by respective artistes.
The original ‘Geng’ was first released sometime in February.
