Rickman Elated as His 'Bango' Hit Features in Swangz Avenue's First Movie

Fast-rising Ugandan musician Derrick Ddungu alias Rickman Manrick is in high spirits after his hit song ‘Bango’ was among hits that featured as soundtracks in Swangz Avenue's new movie ‘Rolex’.

According to Rickman, the story line of ‘Bango’ was an inspiration from every ghetto youth around the world who set standards and raise their bar high to achieve their goals.

Through his social media pages, Rickman revealed how excited he was for the opportunity.

"It was and it is an honor to have our very own Bango as one of the soundtrack in a short film by Swangz Avenue official, 'ROLEX' which Will be premiering on 12th this month on the Swangz YouTube channel. Thumbs up Benon Swangz'' Rickman posted.

Swangz Avenue last week announced that its very first movie was titled ‘Rolex’ was set to premier soon.

The movie was premiered on Easter Sunday on the label's official YouTube account.

It tells of a story about a gang of four thieves with diverging ideas on how to divide the stolen goods.

It features Masaba Rogers, River Dan Ruganju, Yusuf Kaija Boxer, and Sebo Lule Raymond.

 It was directed by Benon Mugumbya and written by Benon Mugumbya & Hosea Jjemba.
