Rema, Naira Marley Join Netizens in 'praying' for Chioma After She Tested Positive for Coronavirus

Music lovers globally, more so, in Nigeria, are yet to come to terms with the news that the Coronavirus pandemic has struck closer to them.

This follows confirmation by Nigerian superstar Davido that his fiance Chioma had tested positive for the highly infectious Virus.

Davido whose latest album 'A Good Time' is doing well in the music industry broke the sad news on his official social media pages on Friday.

In a part of an Instagram post, he said; "Unfortunately, my fiancé’s results came back positive while all 31 others tested have come back negative including our baby. We are however doing perfectly fine and she is even still yet to show any symptoms whatsoever."

With the shocking news sinking in, social media users across the globe have joined hands in wishing Chioma quick recovery.

Nigerian singers Rema and Naira Marley have also sent their 'get well soon messages' to Chioma.

In a tweet alongside a photo of Davido and his fiance Chioma, Rema said; "Sending our prayers Queen.'

Naira Marley on his part took to Insta stories where he posted a photo of Chioma and captioned: "We pray for fast recovery."

Despite Chioma testing positive for Coronavirus, Davido and his son tested negative.

Davido recently returned to Nigeria from the United States of America following the Coronavirus pandemic.

Chioma, who has now been put under quarantine, and the baby had also returned to Nigeria from London.

With the latest development, Davido will have to self-isolate for at least 14 days.
