Teniola Apata better known by her stage name, Teni was born on 12th December 1992. She is a Nigerian rapper singer and songwriter. She was born in Ekiti State. She attended the Apata Memorial High School, she later graduated from the American Intercontinental University with a degree in Business Administration.
Music Career
Teni started her music career when she was 2 years old. She stated out with freestyles on instagram but got her recognition with her debut single ‘Amen' while signed to Shizzi’s Magic Fingers Records.
She got her big break in 2017, with the release of hits ‘Askamaya', ‘Case' and ‘Uyo Meyo'.
In 2019 she teamed up with Ghanaian reggae artist Stone Bwoy on ‘Olo Olo'
Family
Teni is the younger sister to popular Nigerian singer Niniola.

In 2018 she won The Headies (Rookie of the year) , sound city MVP Awards Festival (Best New Artist) and Nigeria Entertainment Awards (Most Promising Act to watch). In 2019 she won the BET Awards (Best Pop single for ‘Case') and The Headies (Best Recording of the Year, Viewer’s Choice, Best Vocal Performance).
