'Hallo Hallo' hitmakers Wakimbizi set to make a comeback into the music scene
4 March 2014
Remember the hit group Wakimbizi who gave us the hit songs 'Hallo Hallo' and 'John'? well they are set to make a comeback to the music scene tonight by launching a single tonight at Tribeka during the wakilisha East Africa event .
Mzazi Willy M Tuva who hosts the event together with Fundi Frank shared the following post on his Facebook page:
" WAKIMBIZI are BACK! Witness their return tonight when they take the STAGE at WAKILISHA EAST AFRICA - Club Tribeka. Nairobi"
The group was formed in the mid '90s by brothers Morris and Henry Masheti using the stage names Mariko and Mr. Filter respectively; they have maintained a low profile since their two major hit songs back in 2003 even after gaining a large endorsement deal but with their performance tonight, fans just may have the chance to see if they still have their groove on.
The event starts at 6pm so come mingle and interact with some of the largest names in the music industry.
