UGANDA:Introducing The Mdundo Music Touch (MMT)

When you talk about music people usually focus on just the musician their voice, their lives and fame, the beauty and how glamorous they look in videos and a lot of talk on the artist. What we all forget is there is more to music than just the artist we have a lot of other gifted hands behind the success of the artist.

Mdundo Uganda has decided to explore and get to know the people behind all the beauty and talent that makes music what it is and pleasant to both the eyes and the ears.

We are introducing The Mdundo Music Touch

Besides the normal daily updates on music in Uganda we shall be adventuring in writing about the other various professionals and talents that contribute to making music a pleasantry to the eyes and ears of the society.

We plan on doing this by introducing themes for the different days;

Magical Monday

On every Monday we shall be covering a story on producers and song writers. We shall choose one talented producer / song writer on every Monday and write a profile, activities, achievements and what they are working on in order to build our music industry.

Directors Tuesday.

This category will comprise of video directors, choreographers, dance groups and everyone who makes the artist’s video look classic and worth our admiration.

DJ Wednesday

This will talk about most of the prominent Djs, their history and where they play their mixes from because these make music famous especially in the bars and at various concerts.

Throwback Thursday

We shall write about music events from the past that were life changing, talk about the Golden Ugandan artists that we have to relive and bring back to life and appreciate their works.

Fashion Friday

Fashionistas play a big role in the music industry and in this section we shall write about make-up artists that work with the artists, stylists, socialites and other various people that make our musicians appeasing to society in terms of fashion and design.

Fans Saturday 

we can not forget the biggest group which is the fans/ friends. Fans make most of the musicians very famous. We continously download their music, share their videos, play them all the time, make requests evryday on the radio and tvs and not forgeting show up in large sums to attend their concerts. So on Saturdays we shall be writing about some of the die hard lovers of these artists.

Society seems to have forgotten these people’s contribution to music yet they are the men and women behind the great sound, videos and glamourous looks of the beautiful musicians that we idolize. 

Whatever they are doing we are interested and we want to have their stories every step of the way. Starting this Monday 29^th August we are exploring these extra ordinary talents.

Who we shall write about first, that is our secret just seat back and enjoy the  Mdundo musical Touch
