UGANDA: Jamrock Thursday at Sundowners postponed a few days before official reopening

A few weeks ago Iguana bar the birthplace of Jamrock Thursdays was closed down and revellers were extremely heart broken since it was a ritual for very many raggea lovers and patrons who frequented the event mostly after work to release stress, it was also dubbed, the Pre-Weekend Party.

The movement was then moved to Sundowners bar located on lumumba Avenue in Wandegeya, a very popular hang out spot for patrons around Makerere University but was closed down for renovation two weeks ago and was stated to open up on wednesday 27th of july 2016 and also be the new home of jamrock thursdays on 28th of July 2016 

Dancehall 'Bwoss' today went onto social media with a heavy heart and posted that this thursday 28th july 2016 which was supposed to be the official re-opening will not happen due to certain issues which were beyong him and he promised to inform the public when the relaunch of Jamrock will be.
He went on to say 

 '' I'm really sorry to have to inform you that we have had to post poned this week's edition of
"Jamrock Thursdays" Dubbed as " Jamrock Returns " which was scheduled for Thursday (28.07.2016 ) at Sundowners Lumumba Avenue.

Unfortunately the circumstances under which the event was cancelled were beyond our control. We did attempt to come up with an alternative date but this would be too impractical at such short notice. Thorough preparations and efforts to make " Jamrock Returns " an even more spectacular event are underway and in a hurry. All of this is being done in the hope that you'll join us to bring back " Jamrock Thursdays " back to life. ''
