KENYA: Koffi Olomide's Kenyan Promoter Allegedly Goes into Depression Following Cancellation of Show

Well Kenyans got their retribution after Congolese singer Koffi Olomide was deported from the country but one man was left cursing following the cancellation of the Saturday night show that did not happen.

Nsana Jules, the man reported to be the promoter behind the failed concert has reportedly gone into depression after counting losses of more the Ksh.5 million that had been poured on the show.

The news that Koffi Olomide had been deported from the country followed scores of fans that had already paid money for the show calling Nsana Promotions demanding a refund of their money.

Advanced tickets for the show went for as much as Ksh.4000 for VIP tickets and Ksh.2500 for ordinary tickets. Furthermore it was reported that the VIP tickets had already been sold out.

It is also said that the promoter had already paid Koffi in full ahead of his performance and was also the one paying for the singer and his crew stay at the Villa Rosa Kempinski which has a reputation for being expensive.

The show which was meant to go down at the Bomas of Kenya on July 23, would have been Koffi’s biggest in Kenya to date.
