Octopizzo clothes refugees at Kakuma
26 February 2014
There's no denying that Kibera’s finest Octopizzo is a man with a big heart, always remained true to roots and upbringing and giving back to society at any given chance, recently becoming involved in a charity course at the Kakuma refugee camp in North Eastern province.
The charity dubbed 'Cloth Them With Dignity' aims to offer clothing and food aid to the thousands of refugees fleeing the war torn South Sudan republic.
The talented rapper took to his Facebook page to encourage more people to join the movement, sharing the following post,
“We still collecting clothes for our brothers and Sisters in#KakumaRefugeeCamp and now we have managed too get a drop point in the CBD, Donations can now be dropped at the Kenya Railway Club”
Yesterday in an interview with Willy M Tuva, one of South Sudan’s music exports Lam Tungwar encouraged musicians in the region to join hands and use their influence to help stop the violence in the country and it seems Octopizzo is just doing that.
Earlier on this month, Octopizzo released his debut album titled “Chocolate City” and you can download all the songs off this album right here on Mdundo by following the link below.
