South Sudan artist Lam using his influence to spread peace

Lam Tungwar who is one of the top musicians from the war torn South Sudan is on a mission to bring peace back to his home country the artist has taken the initiative of using his musical influence to spearhead change in his home country.
In an interview with Mzazi Willy M Tuva on Citizen Radio, the talented artist outlined his main mission of which he believes can be achieved if all the stake holders work together.
“Things at the moment are not good in my home country, what has brought me here is to bring together musicians across the region to help and be part of the team that will bring back peace to my motherland South Sudan,” he said
“Being a refugee is not good, I was once a refugee and I know how it feels, people should sit down together and come up with a solution to this situation,” he added
The Musician whose three brothers have died in the ongoing unrest also adressed the whole K-Denk issue by advising the fellow musician to drop the gun and join the peace initiative.
The unrest in the newest African state began a few months ago after a failed coup attempt.
