KENYA: Sauti Sol Jumps into Studio With Producer of Drake's and Wizkid's 'One Dance'

It seems to be the year for international collabos for Sauti Sol, from Alikiba, 2Baba and now they are back in the studio again working on their next international hit record.

This time they are working with South Africa’s DJ Maphorisa who this year has been credited with producing Drake and Wizkid’s smash hit ‘One Dance’.

The band made the announcement this week through social media posting a photo of themselves with the popular DJ in studio.

DJ Maphorisa came is currently in the country producing for music reality TV show Coke Studia Africa Season 4, specifically working on Vanessa Mdee and Pato Ranking’s mash up.

Nigerian singer Wizkid is known to prefer working with the DJ who has produced several of his hits including Soweto Baby.

And judging by his and Sauti Sol’s track records for making hits we can’t help but predict that this just might be the band’s biggest track of the year so far.
