KENYA: Timmy TDat and Kush Tracey Love Affair Ends in Physical Confrontation
13 June 2016
Rumors began to swirl last week about the status of the relationship between rap’s favorite couple Kush Tracey and Timmy TDat, with many blogs reporting that the two had broken up over an alleged affair between Tracey and an unnamed Kisii politician.
Today’s Standard newspaper confirms the news under the ‘MondayBlues’ section where rapper Timmy is reported saying, “I knew they (Kush and the politician) had a thing before we started dating but I thought it was over, and that is why I announced that we are an item. Kush and I are no longer an item and the episode is now behind me. I am focusing on music and my career.”
On the other hand a post from Tracey on social media tells a completely different story, one of Timmy’s aggression that allegedly caused the end of the short but passionate relationship.
The ‘Kamote’ singer took to social media yesterday where she posted the following;
“Hey Lovely people. First of all I would like to apologize to all my fans for the silence concerning news that has been circulating on social media. There was some misunderstanding that took place outside 1824 that lead to Timmy getting physical with me and that made the taxi drivers outside 1824 take part and try stop him, however I forgive him and am moving past that. Also I would like to thank him for working with me on #NDULU project. To my fans am sorry for all this, am still the same Kush Tracey, Bossmama, Mkamba wa Masaku and am still going to continue giving you what you want in terms of music, more collabos and many more projects are to come, hence the love affair with Timmy is no more only entertainment business aye!!”
Questions now arise as to which account of the two stories is true and if the said ‘misunderstanding’ was indeed caused by a certain unnamed politician.
