UGANDA: The Aftermath Of The Celebrity Lunch Date With Judith Heard
6 June 2016

On Friday 4th of June, We had a lunch date with the diva and renown fashionista Judith Heard at one of the best indian food reataurants in town - The Great Indian Dhaba on plot 3, Hotel Africana, Wampewo Ave.
The date started off at 3pm when the fan who won the lunch date, Mr Assimwe Alton, a Second Year student at Makerere University Persueing a bachorlors degree in Community Psychology arrived and seemed nervous at first but once he sat down, he got into the mood and told me more about himself while we waited patiently for the main guest to arrive at our little 'soiree'. Mr Assimwe Alton is also a very serious Basket ball player who is actually on the basketball team of makerere University, he was dressed casualy being a friday in jeans a T-shirt and a pair of sneakers (J's).
We then orded drinks him preffering Fanta and i go for sprite and as the waiter goes to fetch our drinks i ask Alton what his expectation was of our lovely guest Judith Heard, and he said,
" I dont know what to expect, she is a really gorgeous woman and i dont know what am going to say to her when she arrives. ''
Judith Heard Arrived 15 minutes later and made her way in, Tall and elegant, her poise only matched by the splendor of the beautiful restaurant in which we sat and she walked towards us.
Alton hugged her almost anxiously and when she finally sat down, she appologised for being late to which his eyes bulged in disbelief. she then went ahead to ask him what he did for a living to which he responded almost automatically and then they delved deeper into the conversation as i watched. At some point i didnt actually understand how they had gotten to talking that fast then i overheard both Judith and Alton speaking in Lutooro, a language spoken by people from fort portal.
So it turned out that both Judith and Alton share the same tribe and this escalated to a fully blown out conversation about the past and areas in the village they had both visited which was all too much for me, but non the less i continued to observe but thats when the waiter came to save the day as he brought us our starters which looked absolutely terrifyingly hot that both Alton and i were skeptic to dive right in but we were given assurance of not being stung by the hotness of chilli. and it was absolutely delicious, just exactly how it was described. so we went ahead to stuff our faces all in bliss of the moment and enjoyment.

We were then Served with trhe main course, chicken tikka masala which looked delicious and went down as easily as the starter and everyone was elbow deep in food with not even a care about whats happening around us as other guests kept glancing towards our table and talked in whispers.

finally the desert was served. and it was suprising because all i saw was two red balls in a bowl, i was skeptic thinking it was a ploy to trick us into eating the spicy stuff but to our amazement once the little red ball was in my mouth and melted, all i could feel was ecstacy as the sweet cheese melted into my mouth and that was the highlight for everyone of the lunchdate.

The restaurant was worth the lunch, both the celebrity and the fan left happy and satisfied having enjoyed their time at The Great Indian Dhaba,
Judith scored the restaurant at 9 since nothing is ever perfect but overall, it was a lunchdate to be remembered.
