KENYA: Find Out the Hilarious Means Street Boys Forced Ringtone to Part With Ksh50,000

Preaching water and drinking wine is a normal part of life for a lot of influential figures in society, be it politicians or our very own celebrities.

In their songs they are always saying one thing and in their real lives doing another, and this is especially true for our gospel artists. Very few of them live the lives that they preach to us in their music.

But the Lord as they say works in mysterious ways, and gospel singer Ringtone found this out first hand recently when he was forced to drink the water that he preaches.

Speaking to the Pulse, he narrated his fated encounter with a group street boys on Wednesday 25, this week while he was out shopping for spare parts.

The street boys it seems were either well informed or big fans of Ringtone and quoted lyrics from his latest jam ‘Tenda Wema’ and forced him to part with his shopping money.

“They confronted me calling me ‘Sonko’ and insisting I should walk the talk. They did a verse of Tenda Wema, stretched their hands and said I should simply bless them with some money and leave,” he said.

“I ended up shopping for them and buying food for them, something that left me about Sh50,000 less. That was a big lesson for me. My heart was fulfilled.”
