KENYA: Sauti Sol and Amos & Josh Will Weep at This 'Nerea Response' by Lulu Kibaara

When Sauti Sol’s and Amos & Josh’s ‘Nerea’ first came out, it woke up the sleeping dogs and many took to social media to address the issue of abortion each with their own perspectives.
Away from the debates though the song went on to gunner up views on YouTube (to date it has 1.7 million views) and getting massive airplay on traditional media.
Now almost a year later talented songstress Lulu Kibaara has come up with a reply to the famous song and it’s titled ‘Talia’.
According to this song, basically ‘Nerea’ kept the baby but after that the father was nowhere to be seen and like many women out there she had to go the longest mile by herself (Damn you! Baba Nerea).
Song concept aside, I think the most astonishing part to this jam is the raw talent that the artist Lulu Kibaara has.
She is not a popular name in the entertainment circuit but in regards to just raw talent she could take on even the best of the best.
