UGANDA: Angella Katatumba Appointed ''The Face Of Uganda Cancer Institute''.

Popular Ugandan artist, song writer, musician and philanthropist, Angella Katatumba was appointed the Face of Uganda Cancer Institute.

Speaking on Friday 13th May, 2016 at the Launch of the Cancer Awareness Magazine under the theme “Awamu Join the Cancer Fight” at Victoria Hall Sheraton Hotel, The UCI Director Dr. Jackson Orem and the Professor Fred Okuku of Uganda Cancer Institute at Mulago, confirmed Angella’s appointment after critically observing her Mulago Yaffe project, previous donations and commitment to the betterment of Mulago Hospital.

In attendance was the Comprehensive Community Cancer Program coordinator Dr. Noleb Mugisha among others who highly credited Angella as the perfect personality to lead all Ugandan awareness campaigns in the fight against cancer at the institute.

This comes just one month after the singer was appointed ambassador of the Uganda Bikers Association.

hopefully we shall have more people like Angella who take the mantle and make our country proud by doing things which need to be done to save lives of Ugandans.
