Wyre for sure has set the foundation for Dancehall Music not only Locally but Internationally and therefore it comes as no surprise that he has been nominated for a World Music Award.
Wyre has been nominated Under the category of World's Best Male Artist the same category with big shot artists such as Jay Z,50Cent, Asap Rocky, Pharell, Big Boy and several others.
World Music Awards are presented to the World's best-selling Artists in the various categories and to the best-selling Artists from each major territory.
Last year Wyre collaborated with Jamaica’s superstar Alaine in his club banger “Nakupenda Pia” that received massive airplay both in Kenya and abroad and he recently broke his silence with his new track “No More” that has equally been received excitingly well by fans.
