EXCLUSIVE: After Getting in Studio With 'German Juice' Hit Maker Cynthia Morgan, Find Out Other Top Nigerian Acts That Khaligraph Jones is Working With
10 May 2016
Last week rapper Khaligraph Jones announced that he had just finished working with Nigerian songstress Cynthia Morgan, known for her hit jam ‘German Juice’, on a brand new jam,
Now more details have emerged revealing that the song titled ‘My Vibe’ is set to be released this coming Friday.
We spoke to Khaligraph earlier today who revealed that the collaboration had been made possible by Nigerian producer Sucksy Beat, who also produced the song.
Last month Sucksy Beat had announced that he would be setting up shop in Kenya and that he had his eye set on some of the Kenyan artists that he wanted to work with following his move on his new record label Music Across Boarders (MAB).
We also asked the rapper how he felt about the new collaboration and what it meant for him.
“It’s always a great experience working with people, especially people who don’t share the same background, she’s from the West and I’m from the East. The experience was great,” he said.
He also revealed that he would be looking to work with other Nigerian artists in the near future among whom are some of the biggest names in Nigeria’s rap-game.
“We have a lot more projects coming out, like with Olamide and YCEE (both from Nigeria) all courtesy of Sucksy Beat,” he revealed.
As to what we should expect from the song, the rapper revealed that it would be different from what we’re used to hearing from him.
“All my projects are different, and with this particular one it’s different because Cynthia isn’t from Kenya and she’ll be doing a couple of lines in Swahili and I will also be jumping on that Nigerian as well. The instrumentals, the beat of the song is also different, it’s one of those club bangers and I’m very sure the reception is going to be positive.”
Well it seems that Nigerian producer Sucksy Beat has his eyes set on Khaligraph Jones for now and this coming Friday will set the tone for what fans should expect from this new partnership.
