UGANDA: The Aftermath Of The Celebrity Lunch Date With Angella Katatumba.

As soon as we walked into The Wild Orchid, we were very impressed, the birds were chirping sweetly, the food display was very enticing as it had an assortment of baked goodies that would most definitely leave your mouth happy (I didnt get to taste them though).

The staff were very helpful and kept on asking if we were fine or needed anything else, but the most joyous and happy people were the two co-owning partners Bindu and Saira. who stuck around to make sure that we were being served properly. 

Jacqueline Mazzi is  the fan who won the celebrity lunch date with Angella katatumba,  she is the finance manager at brand vision an advertising agency located in kamwokya, bukoto street. she was very punctual as expected and sat down, making conversation while anxiously waiting for Angella Katatumba to arrive, in this time before Angella arrives, i  find out she loves local music most especially from Angella Katatumba, Karungi sheebah and Radio & weasel. She also enjoys swimming, reading and actively plays tennis.

Angella Katatumba finally arrived with her entourage and was excited to meet her fan who was chosen for this date, she looks stunning as usual with the right kind of make up on her face, a see through blouse not revealing too much but just enough to keep her looking good and fashionable at the same time and she goes ahead to greet Jacqueline with a hug.

Within a few seconds, the two ladies are already getting aquainted and huddled together looking at pictures from Angella's phone as they both giggle, if u hadnt seen them coming seperately, you could have sworn that the two ladies were best friends because they got along quite fast and at some point before the starter was served, Angella showed Jacqueline a picture and she burst out laughing and Angella followed to do the same(Girls)!

They get serious and Angella talks about her achievements and accolades but also delves deeper into her personal life opening up about certain private things that you would never expect to actuallly have happened to her. she also talks (quite disgustedly) about how certain social media has lost meaning for example snap chat and how people waste their time instead of doing something productive with their lives.

The conversation was getting more heated up but the waitor signaled and we were served the starter, consisting of cassava chips accompanied by sweet and sour source as well as kachumbali which went down nicely and sweetly tantalizing the taste budz as they were spicy hot.

We moved on to the main course which was the Thai green chicken and rice which was scrumptious with all the flavours entwining to give off a finishing off taste that leaves you wanting more. 

Then last but not least the dessert finally arrived and although we were already filled to capacity, we had to make room for the Carrot cake which was served chilled and once everyone had a bite of it, the rest was history and everyone walked away happy though Angella sticks to her guilty pleasure, being the best thing in the world for her, ''Milkshake" . 

The meal was worth the wait and The Wild Orchid is the kind of place thats hidden but once found you will always go back.

Angella Katatumba rated the place at 8/10 apart from the little hitches of delayed service time, everything else was on point, the celebrity lunch was powered by Hello Foods Uganda and we were greatful to the Wild Orchid for having us..
