UGANDA: The 'Save Carol' Fever Has Hit Peak Levels
21 April 2016

The 'Save Carol' initiative is a charity car wash that has been put in place to raise funds for Carol Atuhaire who is a cancer patient in the cancer ward in Mulogo hospital, the same kind of event happened not so long ago for Rosemary Nankabirwa in order to collect money to save former news anchor's life.
It was an interesting place to be for name-droppers and car enthusiasts. Unfortunately, Nankabirwa died just hours after the successful fundraising drive organized by her colleagues at NTV.
In total, Shs 33m was raised at an event where NTV staff did most of the car washing. But away from the sad events on Sunday, how often do you get MC Kats, Dave Dash, Douglas Lwanga, Sheila Nduhukire, Pablo or Judith Heard to give your car a scrub?
This year it will be Carol Atuhaire who will benefit from this charity events as multitudes of celebrities and anyone who is anything will participate.
The fever continues as different celebrities have taken it upon themselves to create awareness.
