12 April 2016

Not long ago, Afropop group Sauti Sol excited Kenyans with one of the biggest concerts to take place in Kenyan soil at their ‘Live and Die in Afrika’ album launch concert.
Now the group is back at it with even bigger plans in store with their latest project the countrywide Live and Die in Afrika tour.
The event is being touted as ‘Kenya’s biggest traveling music tour’ and kicked off with the album launch concert that took place in Nairobi in February.
And this April 16, the tour is headed to Nakuru for a massive concert that will be held at the Nakuru Sports Ground.
“We are super excited to be in Nakuru for our Live and Die in Afrika tour. We haven’t had a proper concert in Nakuru mainly because our catalogue wasn’t big but right now we have the ammunition to rock Nakuru. We promise that this will be as thrilling as it could get. Grab all your friends and fans of Sauti Sol and come watch us deliver a world-class performance in your hometown,” said Sauti Sol's in a statement.
To host the event in Nakuru will be the self-proclaimed Kenya's Number On Hypeman, DNG.
The concert will be followed soon afterwards on April 23 with a show in Eldoret to be held at the Eldoret Sports Club and the following weekend, the band will thrill its fans in Kisumu at the Kisumu Simba Club.
Meru will be the next destination on the schedule come May 7, in a show to be held at the Meru Technical. They will wrap up the tour at the coastal city of Mombasa, where a mega concert is set to be held at the Mombasa Sports Club on May 14.
