KENYA: Beauty and the Beast Make a Beautiful Baby, Check Out 'Kama We' by Atemi Oyungu featuring Khaligraph Jones

After months of waiting, Atemi Oyungu and Khaligraph Jones have finally released their new collaboration titled Kama We.
Atemi and Khaligraph is not a combination any of us would have seen coming but I suppose sometimes the best combinations aren’t.
They are both two of a kind in each of their respective genres Afrosoul and Hiphop which are rarely seen to come together but whenever they do always seem to be a pleasant surprise, and this one was too.
The song was produced by R Kay and the video was shot by the very reputable Nigerian producer Clarence Peters.
We spoke to the two artists to find out how it was working with one another and whether we could expect a possible future collaboration.
“It was great working with Atemi, she’s a legend and so I felt like my career has gone to a whole new level,” said an excited Khaligraph.
“He was very professional about everything, he went to the studio and recorded his part, he even came on time for the video shoot on time. It was really cool working with him,” replied the impressed Atemi.
As to whether she would work with the Kayole rapper again she said, “Hopefully. It’s just that I can’t feature the same person on every song. But sure, if he had something he’d like to feature me on, I’d do it no problem.
“It was a really good experience working with him, he didn’t have a diva mentality even when things didn’t go smoothly on the day of the shoot he didn’t complain. He was really a team player,” she concluded.
