KENYA:Burundian Superstar and Song Writer Kidum Joins Mdundo

He’s a top song writer, composer, singer and master drummer renowned for some of East Africa’s biggest hits sang across living rooms in the region and beyond.

Kenyan based Burundian singer, Jean-Pierre Nimbona a.k.a Kidum Kibido has worked with some of the biggest acts in East Africa. The likes of Tanzanian songbird Lady Jaydee in smash hit song ‘Nitafanya’ and Uganda act Juliana Kanyamozi in ‘Haturudi Nyuma’.

He is also a decorated musician winning the African equivalent of the Grammys at the 2012 Kora Awards as well as 1st Place at International Song Writing Competition 2014 in the World Music category.

The ‘Mulika Mwizi’ vocalist is known for writing both secular and spiritually uplifting songs that are aired all across Africa.
