Introducing H_ART The Band, Uliza Kiatu stars

Energetic, engaging and electrifying are the three E’s that would be used to describe H_art, the band that staged a stunning performance during the #rawMdundo open mic over the weekend.
The event was organized by Mdundo in collaboration with Penya Africa aimed at showcasing raw talent and bringing together artists for interaction.
H_art, whose performances were multifaceted, left the crowd hooked and wanting for more, not forgetting their incredible stage presence.
The band members, Mordecai, Kenchez and Wachira, met in 2012 during an audition for a play at the Kenya National theatre. They each got the roles and during the rehearsal process discovered that they shared a passion for music, spoken word poetry, comedy, dance and fashion.
H_ART was formed not long after. In February 2013 the trio performed for the first time. They are part of artist development program provided by Penya Africa.
