UGANDA: Warehouse party for DJ Rachel's 20th career year

DJ Rachael, Uganda’s premier female DJ celebrates 20 years of her craft this July with an overdose of pomp and oomph. She is hosting "The Rapture" party, which will showcase one of the biggest names in the International DJ world, and also host to some of the biggest DJs from Germany, France, South Africa and East Africa. The event is being billed as The Pearl’s answer to the world famous Ultra Festival. The venue will be a warehouse which guarantees lots of crazy, funky, rocking unstoppable, no-holds-barred fun. DJ Rachel’s disc jockey credentials include appearances at numerous festivals like Sondeka, Schlachtofbronx, Nyege Nyege, Laba Arts, Bayimba Doadoa and Milege. She has left happy revelers at the DeMarco & Wayne Wonder concert, The Marine Ball, Fanta Bambucha and is a regular at clubs; Silk, Rouge, Volts, Cayenne and Big Mikes.
