Khaligraph speaks for the first time since he released Octopizzo diss!
3 February 2014
Khaligraph Jones has caused a major stirr in Nairobi today due to his diss track directed at Octopizzo who is the self proclaimed Kibera's finest, and though some people may not understand the roots to the beef, Khaligraph clarified all that to Mdundo during an interview this morning,
"This beef began way back in 2007 after i won him in a rap battle and from then on we burried the hatchet for a while but the beef was rekindled in 2009 when he started acting up again"
"The reason i did this track is because i feel no one owns the music industry and that's exactly how Octo is acting, he's been calling out people including myself then recently he went on radio and started talking bad about me putting me down because he knows his fan base is larger than mine, Ive just been silent about the issues but now i had to put things straight, don't bring people down just because you are on top of your game" he further went on to say.
After listening to this track myself, i have to say it was consistent punchline after the other with all issues set clear with a clear smooth flow, and though it might not have been his intention Khaligraph has just hands down taken the crown for King of the 25 flow, lets wait and see what Octopizzo's come back will be .
