Despite criticism and controversy, Black Star shoots up in popularity!

It's the start of a brand new month and hope you had a nice weekend!
February is a wonderful time of the year and if you are really going to go for it, if you're going to reach your New Years resolutions, stretch and do things you've never done before – word from the wise.
From this side of the planet we are happy to be releasing Mdundo TOP25 chart this morning highlighting the best 25 singles on the platform for the past week basing on legal downloads.
So many new entries including Octopizzo’s much talked about single ‘Black Star’ with daughter Tracy. And what is it about it that has kept fans and haters mumbling? I hear it was sampled or copied from Eminem’s hit ‘Black Star’. Ok, long as it’s not Eminem dropping bars in it we appreciate all that Kenyan artists are doing.
Other new entries include Big Pin’s ‘Hapo Sawa’, new gospel hit ‘Bless My Family’ by Eko Dydda, Makena’s Nilende, and if you didn’t know G-Kon is back in business with ‘Vile inafaa Kufanywa’ featuring Clavo Mistari. Hiphoppa Eli Sketch is also on point closing the chart at #25 with ‘Malimwengu’.
Bad or good news, depends on how you take it ‘Inakam’ has dropped to #4 from #1 in the last two weeks giving way for new Black Star.
