Mr Lenny opens up about his comeback

Singer/song writer and former Ogopa Dj's artist, Lenson Njuki popularly known as Mr. Lenny has been out of the game for close to 7years only making his comeback early this year with the track ‘Randa Randa’, and of course there were so many questions left on fans mind about his hiatus and this morning during a radio interview on Homeboys radio he cleared the talk on the street about the why, what, and wheres.

“People have actually been saying I travelled abroad and that’s why am no longer in the scene. But contrary to that I have been in Nairobi doing business and being a family man.” He clarified.

He also shared that he is currently doing several singles as he compiles his album which is coming soon “I can’t give specifics but be sure I am going to drop an album soon featuring some popular faces and some Grandpa Records signed artists”

Back in the days he was branded as the “King of collabos” which he said he didn’t appreciate since it came with its fair share of difficulties but all that is in the past now and Mr. Lenny now Lenny is going solo and ready to bask in the glory of his own music

“At Grandpa Records an artist is free to be who they are and do what he/she wants which is why I chose to work with them, Refigah was very persistent in making sure I get back to the music scene”
