KENYA: Kenya's Number One Female DJ, Pierra Makena Partners With Kenya's Number One Music Download Site

Kenya’s top female disk jockey, DJ Pierra Makena, has officially partnered with the largest music download website in East Africa, Mdundo Music.

The partnership is part of Mdundo’s growing DJ Project, which has seen other top deejays the likes of DJ Joe Mfalme and the Mix Genius DJ Sadic, as well as other local DJs working with the platform as well.

Speaking about what made her join the platform, DJ Pierra had nothing but praise siting how it has helped upcoming artists grow and get more exposure. She also expects more growth for herself as a DJ and hopes Mdundo will help her achieve that.

“It’s a new platform and i believe in every field there is a challenge but i hope for bigger and better growth as a brand both financially and exposure,” she said in part.

“It is great platform for starting out artist it will improve their growth as individuals and give them a great exposure.

“We share the same visions and goals,” she said in conclusion.

This comes after DJ Pierra was recently selected for DJJanes Top 150 female deejays worldwide, which has no doubt helped in popularizing her name on the global front.
