KENYA: Love and Lust Were in the Air, Team Mafisi Not So Far Behind! Here's How it Went Down at #ValentinesWithSautiSol [PHOTOS]

If there was any doubt that Sauti Sol had achieved legendary status, after their event this weekend there should be no doubt whatsoever left in the mind of even the most skeptical critic.

#ValentinesWithSautiSol is now ultimately the most epic concert to have happened in Kenya. And though the theme was meant to be a lovers affair (as is Valentine’s Day), the ladies seemed to have taken the name of the event quite practically as most of them left their men at home, they literally came to spend Valentine’s with Sauti Sol, sponsors and boyfriends wajipe shughuli!

However team mafisi must have gotten the memo as well as many men also showed up to the event in their hunting packs, and from what I could see many had a successful night.

But there were still couples loyal to each other that came to the event together. So basically everyone had a good time.

Also the celebrities were in the building, from the fashion world to the music world, they all came to witness it all going down.

Yes, love and lust were both in the air and the result was perhaps the most epic time one could have on Valentines weekend.

And let’s not forget the men of the hour, Sauti Sol. As promised, the quartet brought the roof down with their performances, but seeing as there was no actual roof, I guess they brought the sky down (No! well you get the point).

Sauti Sol definitely showed the crowd how true stars perform on a Live stage. From several outfit changes (this time there were no mosquito nets), professional dancers dressed for the occasion, I mean these guys even brought a damn piano on stage, I mean who does that (in Kenya at least).

Standards for Live concerts were definitely raised on the night. And a small side note to all you other artists planning events this year, if you’re not going all out, don’t even think about it.
