Kidum and Maurice Kirya collaborate in new track

Burundi’s Jean Pierre Nimbona aka Kidum and Maurice Kirya, one of Uganda’s top artists are set to collaborate on a new hot song that will be out soon.

Maurice Kirya who is one of the most accomplished singers from neighboring Uganda and one of the artists who headlined this years 50th anniversary of blankets and wine, will be teaming up with the super talented Kidum in what will most likely be one of the best songs this year.

The Ugandan singer took to his social media page confirming the reports and even posted pictures of the two having tea at the sound cup studio in Garden city.

“With the legendary Kidum @thesoundcup, we are planning a collaboration and we are super excited about it,” he posted on his Facebook page, however he did not reveal the name of the song and when it will be released.

This will be the second time that the talented Kidum is working with a Ugandan artist in a song after collaborating with TPF judge Juliana in the hit single “Haturudi”.

Kirya’s soulful voice and melodious tone which is nothing short of smooth and captivating have made him one of the most sought after musicians in the region with hits such as 'Mulembe Gwa Kirya', 'Nnanaagira' and 'If My Lungs Don’t Fail'.
