Pit Bull's song selected as official world cup anthem

Rapper Pit Bull’s song ‘We are one’ has been selected as the official world cup Anthem that is set to go down in Brazil from June 12th to July 13th.
Sony is set to release the song which was written and co- produced by Pit bull last year and the Grammy award winner will be joined by Jennifer Lopez and Brazilian singer Claudie Leitte during the opening ceremony on June 12th at Brazil’s Arena de Sao Paulo.
"I'm honored to join Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte at the FIFA World Cup to bring the world together,I truly believe that this great game and the power of music will help unify us, because we are best when we are one.",” the star said in an interview at the Maracana stadium.
Jennifer Lopez, one of South America’s greatest musicians is expected to put up an electrifying performance alongside Pit Bull.
At the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, another South American singer Shakira gave an outstanding performance alongside South Africa’s Freshlyground.
The World Cup song has been a tradition since the 1966 World Cup in England, when a song dedicated to tournament mascot, a lion named "World Cup Willie", was released
