KENYA: Why Na Gode Hit Maker Yemi Alade is in Kenya [PHOTOS]

Nigerian songstress Yemi Alade jetted into the country recently and though it was not clear why she was in Kenya then, we can now confirm that she will be working with Kenyan super-group Sauti Sol in an upcoming project.

Yemi and Sauti Sol are not strangers to each other. The group worked with the ‘Na Gode’ singer at the recently concluded Coke Studio Africa Season 3.

Bien Aime one of the band members grew very close to Yemi during Coke Studio and at the ‘Tecno Own The Stage Kareoke’ competition where they were both selected as judges.

Bien is also said to have played a vital role in the smash hit Swahili version of ‘Na Gode’ helping the Nigerian translate it to the National language.

As to their upcoming project however, not much is known but all that can be said is that with the chemistry between Yemi and Sauti Sol already brewed it should surely be one not to miss.

Recently Sauti Sol posted a photo of themselves with the Nigerian somewhere in the Rift Valley (Naivasha perhaps), where they seem to be shooting the video for their upcoming project.

The song is said to be included in Yemi's upcoming sophmore album 'Mama Africa'.
