KENYA: 'Humble Yourself Before Life Humbles You' - Nameless Tells Octopizzo After What He Did to Wahu

Few names gunner more respect in the music industry than the name ‘Nameless’ (no pun intended). With several awards and hit records under his belt he is easily one of the industry’s most successful artists.

On the other hand his better half Wahu, though not as decorated as he is, is also widely respected by upcoming and successful artists alike.

And so it was widely seen as a show of disrespect when rapper Octopizzo turned down an Award he received at the recently concluded Bingwa Awards and suggested that it should be handed to Wahu instead.

At face value his comments during the Bingwa Awards seemed to show that Octo felt Wahu was more deserving of the Award, however it is when he took to social media belittling the Award and its organizers that his real intentions were seen.

His comments on social media made it seem like it wasn’t because Wahu was more deserving but rather because Octopizzo is too big to be the ‘Comeback Artist of the Year’.

Nameless then took to social media to respond to Octo’s rant advicing the rapper to humble himself and not belittle the award and then hand it over to another artist.

“Haiya...@wahukagwi ebu check this guy out. He says he is too big to receive this award! He even recommended that it be given to you!! Bro, let me give you advice....Appreciate and receive these awards that you win now, because there can come a time in your career that you dont even get noticed or nominated. But I am sure you too big to receive advice , ama? Lakini seriously, you belittle the award then you recommend it to be given to Wahu?? Tuheshimiane... humble yourself before life humbles you,” he wrote.
