Who is DON BABA? ( A ten question interview. )

It's a cold morning in festac town,january 2016.A young guy in a hood,wearing a cap and blue denim jean stepped into a popular club in lagos called rumours owned by the Afro-Pop legend 2FACEIDIBIA.saying hi and hello to everyone he made eye contact with whilst making his way to the table of his interviewer and you can tell he was humble and down to earth.This was DON BABA and we were about to have an interview.

WHO IS DON BABA?

My real names are Oyawale Moses Olayinka.Born,july 11 1999 in alimosho local government,iyana-ipaja,lagos.I'm from Baba Adeshina compound apaara,OYO STATE and I'm a Yoruba ibile hip-hop rap artiste.

WHAT IS YORUBA IBILE HIP-HOP ?
Yoruba ibile hip-hop is music from the mother tongue pioneered by the DAGRIN of blessed memory and still flying the flag high are artistes like OLAMIDE BADOO and REMINISCE ALAGA IBILE.It doesn't matter if you're yoruba,igbo or hausa as long as its music from your mother tongue.

Tell us about the record label,TALOMASIGNMI ENT.
Is it yours ?
TALOMASIGNMI is my entertainment company and it was born out of desire to start my own movement before I get a record deal.JANUARY 3 2016 we did a song with ZLATAN-IBILE (airtel one mic winner season One) called OLOSHO and its still on your music blogs and websites »»get it here »»» www.mp3maga.com/musicdon-baba-olosho/ And come FEBRUARY 1 we are releasing JAGABANI a cover for ICE PRINCE's mutumina shout-out to chocolate city.

WHO ARE YOUR INFLUENCES ?
My musical influences are bob marley,DAGRIN,olamide Badoo,Reminisce Alaga ibile,Sossick,phyno,wizkid,oritsefemi,D'banj,yung6ix,yemi alade,tiwa savage,seyi shay bro the list goes on because I gots love for everyone and yes DON JAZZY too.

WHAT'S YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH SOSSICK ?
Sossick is my BOSS and in some way my brother from another mother.I think we met in early 2014 and we just clicked like that so when I'm at a point I don't know what to do I just call him up and doors open.

DO YOU HAVE NEW MUSIC OR PROJECTS ?
Yes I've been working in the studio day to day and my mom says I don't stay at home no more.I'm always thinking of new ideas and concepts to get to that next level music.I got a new single dropping on the 1st of February called JAGABANI and by the second half of this year we are going to be dropping the sickest Mixtape of 2016 called #EMINIDONBABA.

Are you under management ?
No,I prefer to operate as the sole proprietor of my music business for now 100% and original until more capable arms come in.Shout-out to the TALOMASIGNMI ENT crew.

HOW DO YOU WRITE & RECORD YOUR SONGS ?
I tell people its not about your lyrics and I don't mean to blow my own horn but if you see me record a song its genius! Meaning when I get on the mic I give everything I've got.I write some and freestyle some and I think its basically where the spirit leads me,EMINI DON BABA.
And when the interview was done he offered to buy a lady a drink and disappeared into the dancing crowd,I will say he really is a RAW TALENT with great potentials and only time will take him stardom.
