UGANDA: “When you do drugs you definitely lose focus” - Keko

“When u do drugs u definitely lose focus” said Ugandan rapper Keko talking to over 50 young people between the ages of 15 - 24 years that are going through an intensive and vigorous training on sexual reproductive health and rights at Victoria University to.

The singer revealed that she started doing drugs after campus when her 2nd  album went viral. She decided to go for rehabilitation after realizing she was losing focus on her life and music career. She's been off drugs for 8 months now.  

“It's possible to stop doing drugs if u have support, one step at a time", she said.

Keko is currently working on her mixtape Love From Venus with latest release Get Over It (Available On Mdundo.com) where she features fellow rapper Atlas.

 The young people are part Reach A Hand’s 2016 Peer Educators’ Academy that kicked earlier this year where they are being equipped with comprehensive knowledge to become advocates of health lives for their peers
