KENYA: Rose Muhando Hospitalized Following Serious Snake Bite

News coming from Tanzania of gospel artist Rose Muhando, who also commands a huge following among fans in Kenya, has been hospitalized following a snake bite last week Tuesday, January 19.

According to Tanzania’s Global Publishers, Muhando was bit on her leg by a snake while she was entering the gate of her compound in Dodoma. Her neighbors immediately rushed her to a hospital in Dodoma’s Area C.

“Poor Rose, she is going through a lot of challenges. It is just the other day her legs and arms swelled. She had not fully recovered from this swelling. Now her condition will worsen following the snake bite she suffered at her home,” said a source speaking to Global Publishers.

When the media outlet reached out to Rose Muhando on phone, the call was received by a man who introduced himself as Muhando’s brother.

This news comes after news of Muhando procuring an abortion leaked last year. This of course caused a scandal but it was later revealed that the reason for the abortion was purely for health reasons.

“I’m a mother of three children and a grown-up. At my age, why would I go for an abortion? Do I look like someone who does not love her life?” said an angry Rose Muhando.

“I’m a mature God-fearing woman who is running a Ministry. I cannot procure an abortion. However, there are things beyond us…I was suffering from a strange disease that caused my legs to swell for three months. I will bring evidence from the doctor for you to understand that I’m not 18,” she added.
