KENYA: Despite Warnings From their Fans, Sauti Sol Hit the Studio With Controversial Gospel Artist Willy Paul (PHOTOS)

Last week Sauti Sol fans reacted angrily after their favorite band presented the prospect of working with one of the Gospel industry’s most controversial artists, Willy Paul.

But despite the heavy criticism they faced (and might still face) Sauti Sol posted photos on social media showing they were already at work in the studios with Willy Paul.

Most of the criticism that came from the fans revolved around the constant online battles the ‘Sitolia’ hit maker and fellow Gospel artist Bahati are involved in. In fact their online beefs are so frequent that many claim there are just publicity stunts to get people talking about them.

However controversies aside, Willy Paul has a proven track record in making hits and perhaps that is why Sauti Sol decided to go with him.

All in all, fans will still tune in to watch and listen to the underway collaboration, of that there is no doubt.
