MTV Base wameshikiliwa na mashabiki wa Ali Kiba hadi maji ya shingo.

Hiyo imetokana na baada ya tawi lake la Afrika Mashariki, MTV Base East kuanzisha shindano dogo la kwenye Twitter (Face Off Tanzania) wakiwataka mashabiki kumtaja msanii aliyefanya vizuri Tanzania mwaka 2015 na kuwaweka Ali Kiba, Diamond, Vanessa Mdee na Ommy Dimpoz.

Watu zaidi ya 1500 walimpigia kura na Ali Kiba alishinda mchuano huo kama inavyoonekana hapa chini;

Matokeo hayo yakawa kama silaha iliyomgeukia mpigaji kwa MTV Base, baada ya mashabiki wa AliKiba kuanzisha kampeni ya kuitaka chanel hiyo kucheza nyimbo zake.

Kituo hicho kinadaiwa kuziweka kapuni video zake bila sababu za msingi. AliKiba mwenyewe aliwahi kulalamika kuwa hiyo ni sehemu ya mchezo anyofanyiwa nyuma ya pazia.
