One thing I love about Khaligraph Jones is that you never know what to expect from him. And that’s thanks to his versatility and willingness to always try something new, while most others remain conservative.
For the true music fan you probably already know that Hiphop and RnB are like Ying and Yang in music and despite their differences the two genres complement each other like a slice of bread and Nutella.
Khali is not new to slow music and RnB. He’s done many collabos with RnB singers like Didge in the song ‘You Got Me Sexy’ collaboration with Kristoff and yes he’s even done Bongo music.
However this year it seems he was determined to show his fans he could hold his own in an RnB track and still keep it Hiphop with his rhyming skills.
Khali’s new joint ‘Naked’ is nothing like the hardcore Hiphop music you’d expect from the rapper (or any rapper in Kenya for that matter). This time producer Motif slows down the beat and Khali drops his sensual rhymes singing style (just like Drake) and yes you could perhaps say now that he’s become a singing Ni*a, but we all love it all the same.
