East Africa’s Dynamic Duo Amos and Josh have released their new single “MARY DID YOU KNOW”. In their words, this is the Pan African Version of the world wide hit Mary did you know-originally written by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene. Once again Amos and Josh showcase their songwriting and performance prowess as it brings out a totally new vibe to the song that easily identifies with the African Culture of Christmas Celebrations.
Amos and Josh have once again proved to easily cut across generations and this will definitely get you dancing within the first few seconds of the Song. This unique sound is a statement of the uniqueness and simplicity in Amos and Josh’s touch in the Kenyan music. This release comes three weeks after the release of their third single ZINGUA.
Their first two singles have placed Amos and Josh on an enviable steady rise in the East African Music Sound getting recognition and salutations from Bongo superstar Ali Kiba, BET Award nominees Sauti Sol and Eddy Kenzo. Amos and Josh are now the most successful and promising musicians to come out of Tusker Project Fame music reality TV Show, where they emerged first runners up in the 6th season. Their debut song SMILE was co-written by Bien Aime Alusa of Sauti Sol. In addition to one of the most successful collaborations NEREA which is currently at 1.3 million views since it was released, they are currently riding charts with ‘BAADAYE’ featuring Rabbit King Kaka and ‘PROMISED LAND’ which they were featured by Rabbit King Kaka
