NEWS (UGANDA): Watch Jose Chameleone's Hero's Welcome in the Democratic Republic of Congo

If there was any doubt about Jose Chameleone’s iconic status, let it be cleared now.
During his recent visit to the Democratic Republic of Congo on the 27th of November, the ‘Kipepeo’ singer was welcomed not only to a Presidential welcome, with big cars and armed escorts, but to the kind of welcome only heroes dream of.
Many residents rushed to the streets where they chanted his praises and sang his song ‘Kipepeo’ in unison.
Surely the only time I ever saw a welcome of this magnitude was back when Tanzania’s Golden boy Diamond Platnumz was welcome back home after conquering in the BET Awards.
But to cross the border and feel such love, is something many artists can only dream of.
