NEW MUSIC (KENYA): Femcee Stella Mwangi Back With New Jam 'Identify Yourself'

It’s been a relatively quiet year from ‘Biashara’ hit maker STL otherwise known as Stella Mwangi. Who besides featuring in a couple of tracks released only her second solo song this year two days ago titled ‘Identify Yourself’.
The song she says was inspired by an identity crisis which she has suffered in her music career. Which is strange considering most of us would see Stella as one of the few Kenyan artists to have it together musically, seeing as she’s spent most of her music career working with record labels from abroad, which some artists would confess is their ultimate dream.
But then again being born and raised in Kenya and making music in Norway could prove quite challenging to any person, and you would have to reinvent yourself if at all you are to appeal to any of these crowds any time.
Anyway back to the subject at hand. This new song by Stella, was produced Fredrick "Dilly" Wangombe Under 'Badili Akili'.
The track is a perfect mash up of reggae and hip-hop and sounds like something you would find an authentic hip-hop ‘OL-G’ like the Notorious B.I.G. on. All in all a well-produced jam for any hip-hop lover or Stella fan.
