Nikki Mbishi speaks out on his reign of the downloads on Mdundo

After news that Nikki Mbishi was leading the pack in payments during the last quarter of 2013 with over 7000 downloads, Tanzanian leading entertainment sight Bongo5 managed to get a hold of him for a podcast interview and the artist was ecstatic as he expressed his growth in the Kenyan music industry,
“Kitu ninachojua ni kwamba mbali na hizo downloads na kila kitu nimegundua ya kwamba Kenya nina watu wangu wengi wanaosupport kazi yangu moja kwa moja najua Mziki wangu kule Kenya una nafasi kubwa sana” shared Nikki
With just two weeks into the New Year he already has over 2000 downloads which already is a clear indication that the artist has a massive fan base which is ready to support and back him up.
The question now remains who will be able to catch up with him this next quarter considering there was a difference of 5500 downloads with the second person who was Khaligraph Jones.
