PRINCE HELLY FOUNDATION EXPANDS UZIMA CHICKEN SUPPORT PROGRAM TO EMPOWER YOUTH

*ALEBTONG, UGANDA | 19th August 2026* — The *Prince Helly Foundation (PHF)* has announced an expansion of its flagship *UZIMA CHICKEN SUPPORT - Youth Empowerment Program*, doubling its impact to support *2 members every month* with Uzima chicken.
The announcement was made during a community address by PHF Leadership, where Prince Helly spoke to members about building self-reliance and unity through practical support.
Under the theme *"EMPOWERING OUR COMMUNITY"*, the program is designed to help PHF members start small-scale poultry projects that provide both food security and income opportunities for families.
> “Together we grow. Every month we support TWO members with an UZIMA chicken. This is how PHF builds self-reliance and unity,” Prince Helly stated in his speech to the community.
*Program Details*
The *UZIMA Chicken Support* is part of PHF’s broader Youth Empowerment and community development initiatives. Each month, two selected PHF members receive Uzima chicken to start or expand their poultry rearing.
Uzima chicken, known for its resilience and fast growth, was chosen to ensure beneficiaries can quickly see results and become self-sustaining.
The foundation emphasized that the program is not just about giving, but about teaching responsibility, planning, and community support.

PHF Leadership thanked all members for their continued commitment to the foundation’s values.
