Lil Intimate Raises Concerns Over Unpaid Royalties on Mdundo after a withdrawal request on janaury 2026, no reply till now
26 March 2026
TO THE WORLD OUT THERE BE AWARE OF MY LIL INTIMATE PAIN
Are you aware after being ranked numer 1 on mdundo i have nothing to show for it, but instead pain ad issues from one to another, i am in pain if you have ever lost money or loved one thats the feeling thats why independent recording artist and entrepreneur Lil Intimate has raised concerns over unpaid royalties from Mdundo, one of Africa’s leading digital music platforms.
Despite consistent uploads and strong download numbers, the artist reports that promised payments have not been delivered as promised after 30 days yet from january till now, even after sending follow up emails no reply, scam alert for anyone planing to invest all in such platform like me am disappointed and in pain too thats why all my recent tracks are full of pain cries, cause artists need to eat too but with this we are in hunger.
Lil Intimate, known for blending African chill, indie pop, and smooth rap, recently released a 30-track album across multiple platforms. The artist says the payment delays undermine trust between musicians and digital distributors.
“Artists depend on these platforms not only for exposure but also for livelihood. When payments stall, it affects both creativity and survival,” Lil Intimate stated.
The situation reflects broader challenges in Africa’s digital music economy, where transparency and accountability remain urgent issues. Lil Intimate’s case highlights the need for stronger systems to ensure fair compensation and protect independent artists across East Africa.
