MDUNDO ARTISTS HEADLINE TUSKER OKTOBAFEST SHOWS IN MOMBASA AND NANYUKI

Mdundo artists took center stage over the weekend as Tusker Oktobafest continued its nationwide celebration of music, beer, and culture with back-to-back events in Mombasa and Nanyuki.

In Mombasa, Khaligraph Jones, Ndovu Kuu, Tipsy Gee, and coastal talent Honest Blind Boy delivered high-energy performances at the New Big Tree in Bamburi, turning the beachside venue into a hub of rhythm and excitement. Backed by DJs Benitez, Mostwanted, Issa Platinum, DJ Daffy, and MC Gogo, the lineup kept fans entertained deep into the night, blending rap, coastal beats, and infectious stage energy. The event also featured a surprise birthday celebration for MC Gogo, adding to the night’s vibrant atmosphere.

Further inland in Nanyuki, Njerae brought her signature soulful sound to Stingers Lounge, captivating the audience with heartfelt performances that cut through the evening rain. She shared the stage with Toxic Lyrikali, Ayrosh, and Wanjine, whose energetic acts turned the event into a lively sing-along. DJs Abby, Deewiz, Tibz, Grauchi, Kaneda, and Doubleblack, together with MCs Azeezah Hashim and Kibunja, maintained the high tempo throughout the night. The show peaked with DJ Grauchi’s closing set — a crowd favorite that cemented Nanyuki’s place as one of Oktobafest’s most memorable stops.
The Mombasa and Nanyuki editions followed successful festivals in Nairobi and Eldoret, reaffirming Tusker’s mission to unite Kenyans through music and culture. 

The celebration now heads to Kisumu for its grand finale on November 8th at Atella Beach Resort, featuring top artists and a unique beer experience.
