10 biggest albums of 2013

As the countdown to 2014 starts, we go down the memory lane to look at some of the biggest music albums of 2013 in the Kenyan music scene.

This year artists definitely stepped up their game and gave us nothing short of timeless music and unforgettable hits.

#10 Nazizi ft Ginjah – Nazizi recently released a collaborative album with internationally reggae recording artiste Ginjah titled ‘Motherland”

#9 Bamboo – one of the pioneers of Kenyan music released his latest album this year called “African ban2”

#8 Willy Paul – one of the biggest gospel artist in Kenya released his album “You Never Know” last month

#7 Muthoni DQ – “MDQ” is the name of her latest album which primarily a Hip-hop album

#6 Redsan – Badder than most and if the first single is anything to go by then 2014 is a good year for more good music

#5 Miss Karun – she dropped her album “Lady Bug” this year few months after she left Camp Mulla

#4 Anto NeoSoul – he’s been in the game for a while now but his debut album “StarBorn” with over 12 songs such Chips funga, Jiachilie & Qwerty Love among others songs.

#3 Elani – they launched their debut album “Barua Ya Dunia” two weeks ago. The 10 track album has hit singles like Jana Usiku & Mahindi

#2 Victoria Kimani – dubbed “Queen Victoria” the album was released in September

#1 Rabbit - his new album “Before the success|Success begins now” will have 18 tracks set to be launched today.
