Octopizzo has made more hits than Bruce Lee could ever land on a punching bag! But then again, considering how hard it is to make it in the Kenyan music industry, I feel like the contrast of fixed punching bag does little justice to the imagery I'm trying to paint here. Oh well, it was the best arrow in my quiver so let's run with it.
I personally became familiar to his sounds via his 'On Top' single which had enough wordplay to win to win earn a trophy from the spoken word fraternity. Then came all his other singles that did nothing less than cause seismic waves in the music world, 'Nini' still being one of my all time favourite.
So how did he do it? Octopizzo spills his secret to his immense success and no, it is not 'Illuminati'. Something along th lines of making plans of having atleast 5 hit singles in five years time since joining the industry - KUKACHORA!
